I am a very happy GR650 owner :-)
Have always wanted a 650 twin and since the lack of garage The GR650 was the best option.
I got this baby for 1900$ and it was in a pretty bad shape with home made mufflers and all sorts of funky stuff , I have restored most to original except for the mirrors ( i like them round) and the front indicator ( i like them small  ) .
Still waiting on a paint job ...cant afford one now  but soon ...maybe in the new year.
So if there are any others around my area who want to ride together that would be sweet and also if theres a club going I'll be happy to join.

All the best and m always happy to see so many other jap classic bikers.

Cool set of wheels! Did a good job cleaning and restoring. I couldn't tell in the video, but do those mufflers actually have "Suzuki" stamped on them?

G'day Joniacid,

Seems a very nice restoration job.. I might be asking for some tips soon.

I just joined this forum with my GR in pieces (Adelaide).. see my post
in this section. Good to see others from Oz here, esp. as I'm new to
rebuilding top-ends.

Cheers! :)

Thanks for your positive comments guys!

Big R : the mufflers do have Suzuki stamp on them , they were 220$ each from the wreckers... ouch..
